My word, I literally laughed out loud when Perry started talking. What a laughing stock this guy’s become.

Taking Obama’s words out of context are pretty much for par for the course as far as Republican strategies go, though. Trying to tar Obama as a socialist despite all observable evidence didn’t work for the Republicans in 2008, so no wonder they’re trying again!

Firstly, Conrad, do a little research before writing a blog that will set you up for embarrassment. Even a quick search of Snopes would help you from spreading a long debunked lie. http://www.snopes.com/politics/military/memorial.asp

Secondly, how about HuffPo does a little more vetting of their bloggers than the McCain did for its Vice President nominee? Might help avoid an embarrassment like this paranoid and uninformed blog post.

On a more amusing note, Conrad’s cartoon-level-of-sophistication take on Obama’s relationship with Jeremiah Wright shows how his intellectual curiosity has stalled since all the way back in April of 2008.

Why does Mitt Romney try to appeal to Conservative voters citing his Olympic experience? The Conservative base HATES the Olympics being in the U.S. Remember how they cheered when we didn’t get the Chicago Olympics?

What’s that? They only did that because Obama had fought to get the Olympics? So they ping-pong back and forth on issues based on shallow political goals and flip-flop on any previous position based on opposing anything Obama does?

Wow, this base really is perfect for Romney! Why do they keep seeking an alternative?

It’s really something when people like Rep. Andre Carson and Maxine Waters speak truth to power about the Tea Party, and the Tea Party and even those of even a moderate position react as though those defending themselves from the Tea Party are too beligerent.

It’s as if someone decides to stand up to a bully on the playground and the victim with the courage to defend themself is shouted down as too beligerent.

What an utter and complete offense to our very Democracy. This is a Republican knowingly and deceptively doing what they ALWAYS do: Attacking where they are weak, accusing Democrats of what the Republicans themselves get away with every election. As usual, they pull out the straw man of ACORN that they intentionally created. ACORN was investigated and found to be innocent of voter fraud, but the Right Wing media hammered their talking points so consistently and for so long that their willingly naive voting base sees ACORN as a political villain. To Republicans, it’s all about their team winning without respect to policy, the process or ethics. They know two things for sure, to tell a big enough lie and repeat it often enough, and to accuse their enemies of what they themselves are all too often guilty of.
